Highway Robbery in Fees!

I have been using TurboTax for years but I’m getting fed-up with it. Every stinkin’ year a ton of my return goes to this company just to file. They trick you with “free to file federal” when it’s really not. I pick the lowest package but still end up paying a ridiculous amount. This year I was charged $163!!!!! It was $89 to file federal and state and the rest were fees to e-file and have it put in my own checking account. This is RIDICULOUS! I am absolutely through with TurboTax. I do not recommend it anymore to people at all. Highway robbery!

TurboTax Sucks

There was nothing to tell me what my return would be if I didn't accept the student credit that was automatically accepted for me (I wasn't given an option to decline) so I was basically forced to pay $49 for a special return. Then, to get my refund direct deposited, I had to pay another $35 or set up another checking account that I don't need or want. There was no other option to receive my federal refund. So calling this a free product is an absolute scam when I'm unwillingly forced into situations where I'll have to pay money.
