Could have been better

I don't like that I wasn't offered the advance this year even though I have used turbo tax for several years now. I also don't like that I paid $88 for it today instead of taking it out of my federal. It may have been my fault but the directions weren't clear when we got that far.

Turbo tax snuck in an additional fee $35 at the end and I was unable to decline after I had already paid the 1st $40 fee. You can not get the direct deposit to your own bank account without the fee. They offer to send it to Credit Karma? Who does that? That is the only way to get the direct deposit no fee and I don't even know what the 1st $40 fee was for as I thought that was the processing fee, so they charge to process and then charge to direct deposit but they sell you in the beginning that you are getting a special discount for $40 and lock you in at the end once you have paid before they disclose the direct deposit scam. i would have preferred upfront costs. This is my last year...

They were sued for stating it was free to file they still are riddled with charges and no way to file for free but they keep lobbying in congress to keep the IRS from making a filing system 89 dollars for TurboTax to do absolutely nothing not like everyone is hurting right now but predatory practice like turbo tax is not needed in our society i pray for your down fall :)
