Hidden inescapable fees

False advertisement on prices. Hidden fees that are inescapable and are only revealed after you’ve already done all the work. Practically half of the return spent on filing it all by yourself.

It was suppose to be free but would not let me e-file unless I pd $79.00 first so I did and then when I wanted to e-file again Turbo Tax Charged ne another $59 for a total of $138 when I didn't have no return money or have to pay any money. I'm a widower who lost my wife in December of 2023. This company sucks and will never use you again and will be getting a hold of the Better Business

I would be lost without TurboTax...I don't know how to file on my own. The forms confuse me. I don't want to take my stuff to a tax person. Although now that it cost $200 for turbo tax to do it we might next year.

Every year turbo tax gets less user friendly. It was easier to fill out the old paper forms. You pay more and more for less help. I thought I filed weeks ago only to realize I did not.
