TurboTax isn’t awesome! I want a refund!

Required me to pay $79 for deluxe so they could pay ONE DOLLAR for my 1095-A
Wasn’t like this last year. Gotta love spending 80X what they’re doing for me.

TurboTax hidden information

Filing my taxes were easy and straightforward. I just would have appreciated knowing that I don’t have the option to use the free version. I did all of the work myself and the information provided at the beginning was that I was using the “free version” and the charge breakdown reflected that. Then when I was finalizing my taxes at the last moment it showed the $79 charge. When I further investigated it showed that I am unable to use the free version because I received a certain deduction. That information should have been made clear beforehand especially since the previous charge breakdown was shown.

I like Turbo Tax overall. Especially the filling in of details from the prior year. However, to be finished in 39 minutes and still have to pay $79 feels like a rip off.
