TurboTax is easy to use

We have used TurboTax for many, many years and love the ease of use. The price is getting a bit expensive.

TURBO TAX - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - SCAMMERS

the WORST! have used turbo the past few years with no problems, this year i do as i normally do and go with the free option (i have one document and can upload it with a click) so no need for extra assistance! turbo decided on its own (i went with the free option and did not request them to do this) to look for deductions and found one for $119, was thinking 'alright,cool' it then tells me i HAVE to upgrade for $79 to continue with my taxes because of the deduction ha did not ask you to look for one but alright, go on and take more than half of what i was getting back (it will not let me remove the deduction from my taxes now) so i have to pay to continue, it then tells me there is a $40 processing fee (what the heck!? SHADY) okay, take the entire amount from me, was not expecting anything back anyway! i tell them to take from my refund but i guess they are taxing me too so the $119 refund does not cover the cost and i am FORCED to pay with my card to continue filing my taxes ha this is SHADY and BAD BUSINESS! i chose the free option because my taxes are easy and you tricked me into having to pay you money! so free is not free! and WATCH OUT for hidden fees!

Misleading prices

Still misleading about costs for filing. Claims costs are a certain price the entire time for fed/state/local, then after you go through everything and get ready to check out they add another hidden cost
