Free magically changes to 200.00 before your eyes

Never fails my “free” return ends up costing me 200.00 on the last screen. I have been a faithful customer, not only with myself, but my wife and our family for the last 15 years, but TurboTax has absolutely gotten its last dime from me. Surely there’s got to be a more honest company out there.

Price Gouging

Simple and easy as always. But this year Turbo now charges for Federal along with the already charged state for the so called "free" version. Also, the price for state has doubled. Ridiculous considering the app doing the work with a hand full of technical workers doing app maintenance. I suspect this will help cover all those Intuit commercials and advertisement we see almost every day.

They charged me $64 to file my state taxes, then said I was ineligible per state law & that I have to mail in that return. What did I pay them for then?

I paid twice, tried to file 2023 and the software shifted to 2024 when I finished . They then tried to upcharge me again. This company doesn’t even allow you to e-mail support when there are issues. I would advise anyone not to use TurboTax as there are cheaper alternatives.
