$143 to file with a 1099-G !?

Extremely displeased with how the system auto-entrolled me in "live deluxe max" or whatever and wouldn't let me downgrade without clearing and starting over.
Extremely displeased with how I wasn't eligible to file for free when my only income last year was an unemployment 1099-G. No deductions or any special circumstances of any sort.
My only income was an unemployment 1099-G and I had to pay $143! for both state and feds.
I've been using TurboTax for approx. 20 years and this might be the last one.
Otherwise the product is straightforward and easy to use, which is why I have been a loyal customer to this point.
