Took too long to file. Too many redundant verification requests. Too many hidden charges on what was supposed to be free.

Turbo tax is a rip off

Had a return of approximately $400-500 and only got $100 back. They charged a fee for me depositing directly to my bank account which they suggested on top of already charging separate fees for my state and federal return. Looks like next year I will just pay a professional and get my taxes done privately.

They advertise free and then they charge you at the end when your spirit is too broken to do your taxes with somebody else. Shady shady scammers.
