TurboTax is AWESOME

We have used TurboTax for years and love their program. I wouldn't consider using anything else but Turbo Tax as its easy to use and assistance is always available.

Turbo tax is trash. Every year they advertise about filing for free and every year I still have to pay $80 to file. Next year I’ll be going somewhere else because I’m tired of being lied to. If you’re advertising free filing then make it FREE FILING!!!! It shouldn’t matter what tax bracket I fall in. I have to pay into my taxes every year and filing through TurboTax just adds to that expense, I work and go to school full time, I don’t have the extra funds to do this every year.

Convenient but expensive

It makes it easy to do your taxes, especially if you’ve been using it ever year and have a lot of your info already stored. However, I do not think it is worth the price and will be filing with the free government tools online next year.

Your application is generally very user friendly. I got caught in a data loop for required minimum payment and the application didn't provide good help.

Overpriced, constantly trying to force upgrades, inadequate description of qualifying dependents caused both my children to have to refile and me to have to hold mine until the last second. If the cutoff for dependent qualification is based on the child's ADJUSTED gross income, why does the tool say what was the dependent's GROSS income? Those are very different numbers and I'm about 90% certain my return will be rejected because their amended returns haven't been accepted yet.
