This service use to be ACTUALLY free. Somehow someway you WILL eventually hit a screen that tells you your taxes are “too complicated” for the free return. I file with ONE W2 and nothing else. No crazy deductions or situations. Last year I filed with an actual NYS tax software that’s free, will be returning to that for next year. Millions of Americans used your service because it was one less expense crushing the lower class.
