Forced to pay for deluxe

The experience overall is very smooth, however, I was forced to buy Turbotax Deluxe. I received $14 back from my retirement return and because of that I had to upgrade to Deluxe for $79...

Made it really easy, was able to do the basic tax help from them and was still able to deduct $27000! Very easy to use!

Computer Online version is horrible

Your internet download version could not find my previous years CD turbotax filings.
Could not go backwards in the interview.
Also had to keep switching between the iphone version and computer version as to which version was less awful.

Turbo Tax - Great Software - Ridiculous Fees!

I rated 2 stars for the user friendly software and ease of transmitting my tax return. The reason for less than 5 stars is due to the fees associated with filing. A $79 fee for processing, $40 fee for direct deposit, and a $30 fee for additional processing through a third party. The fees are ridiculous and robbing the consumer. I have been using Turbo Tax for my filing the last few years. I will be sure to give myself enough time to look around for a e-file system that offer reasonable fees for my taxes next year. Its disappointing indeed.

very non transparent about the final price. advertises cheap and easy tax returns, yeah, my are. thanks for the discount though, that did jack diddly squat. I will be going to a cpa for now on as they are cheaper than a "do it yourself" company some how. what a joke
