Lots of hidden fees, but I guess it got the job done so whatever. Expect to pay $200.

Easy, but still not confident

I still don't feel confident that I have done everything right without paying lots extra to upgrade services. The lowest level/basic service is already about half my tax return. I just hope I have dome everything correctly.

I really like turbo tax because it is easy to use but I hate the fact that it's advertised as a free filing service when it in fact is not. You could pick all of the free options and they still make you pick a service ONCE YOU FINISH FILING that you have to pay for. The least y'all could do is tell people they have to pay before they go through the long process of filing their taxes. Please do better.

Won’t be a customer next year

I won’t be using Turbo Tax next tax season. My income for 2024 was already limited and to have more than half my return go to processing fees, and service use fees honestly feels extremely greedy. I do understand it’s a company, you need to make money. I could go elsewhere, etc. I had just one circumstance that completely deterred me from a free federal return and new fees that I’ve never had to pay before using turbo tax. 2023-2024 were hard enough life wise and now I’ll barely see my federal return. Your service is convenient, and helpful (somewhat) so thank you but I won’t be a returning customer.

Don’t get the app

Online is fine
The app is complete crap, will redirect you to online anyway and cut off calls you make with their tax experts. Tonkin was great though
