TurboTax lobbies to keep taxes complex

Turbo tax and others benefit of a complex tax system they lobby to maintain. The US government should provide us with a free and easy way to pay our taxes and taxes shouldn't need an expert or complex software to file. I should spend the time to learn how to file my own taxes so I don't have to give this company money anymore...maybe next year.

Even with the base $79 plan, it's very intuitive to use, saves a ton of time, and gives me confidence that I'm getting the max refund and also am complying with all the guidelines.
