Hiden fees

It may look easy to fill out, but don’t be fooled—they hit you with hidden fees left and right. It’s supposed to be free, but by the time you're done, you're stuck paying for things you never saw coming. IT'S NOT FREE—don’t fall for it.

TurboTax is a Scam!

It takes very long. Did not get my expected return back. I was charged for filing even though I made under 79k for the year. TurboTax is a scam and I hope they get rid of the IRS. I have to pay to earn my money, spend my money, and in some cases keep my money. Unbelievable what they do to the hard working American.

Not exactly “Free”

Very quick and easy to use, but the price isn’t exactly “free”. I skipped using the paid deluxe packages, and kept submitting that I wanted to continue using the free packages. By the end when I put in my card information for my return, my total amount for using TurboTax was $157, far from free. I would be okay with this price if it didn’t come as a surprise. Very predatory and unclear additional fees.
