Hidden fees and tricky pushy extras.

The extra options TurboTax is trying to push us into sharing our info, or spending $35 more to get our returns faster, all this extra crap being pushed on us made it obnoxious... They kept raising their prices without warning and kept adding fees to my bottom line or they wouldnt send my taxes, it was manipulating. I won't be back.

WHY AM I PAYING YOU?????? THEYRE ALREADY TAKING ENOUGH FROM ME. HOW IS MY FEE $76 but then NOOO SOMEHOW IT CAME OUT TO $180 RIDICULOUS.

Easier than Working with a CPA!

I was very reluctant to file my 2024 taxes without the CPA that had done them for years. But given a less complicated year, I charged in, even pushing close to the 4/15/25 deadline. This platform was SUPER easy to use, had GREAT explanations on subjects (where you didn't need the entire tax code to explain) and was fun on top of it all. Plus it could obtain my tax documents and I didn't have to upload them to my CPA. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised!

Third year in a row I have paid to e-file, had my e-file rejected, then mailed in my taxes.Turbo Tax should not charge customers for a service they do not actually provide.
