Turo tax sucks

Made me pay for taxes and had to mail my tax return in to Irs. Had to pay $69.00 and still have to mail it.

The fees are getting outrageous

Turbotax made filing my taxes a breeze! My only complaint is the ridiculous fees! I am already paying to file I don't see the point in charging an extra $40 to pay with my refund.

Hannah Arnold restored my faith in Turbo Tax!

I had an account that was under an email I never used in my life and I started the chat because all my info was saved to the app. A representative by the name of Hannah Arnold called me and helped me to uncover that I had another account with the correct info and history. I needed to update my phone number to change the password on the old account and delete the info with this new email. I was beyond frustrated and didn’t understand how this could have happened and why was I unable to update my info. Hannah was extremely patient and tried several different avenues to resolve my concern. Her tone was pleasant and helped me to remain calm throughout the interaction. The call dropped and I thought “now I have to get another representative and start over” and to my surprise Hannah called me back. She was able to find an alternative way for me to recover my old account, update my new phone number and change my password. I have worked in retail and customer service management for over 15 years and I’m proud of Hannah! She did everything right from the greeting, calling me back, and recommending the Max product to me. Quality assurance should listen to her call because she did a phenomenal job. I didn’t use Turbo Tax for my 2023 return and with Hannah’s help and commitment to get me logged in I completed my return for 2024 with TT. Thank you again Hannah for an extraordinary experience even in the late hours.

Turbotax continues to be the best option for filing taxes in terms of how easy and straightforward they make the process. So I will wholeheartedly recommend based on that alone. The only downside and the loss of the 5th star is due to the increasing cost of filing. I understanding needing to pay for state returns but the one big thing that disappointed me was charging for the federal filing. The most basic "package" version available was deluxe and that was an extra $70 on top of everything else. I could go on and on about a certain SOMEONE's Tax changes made in 2019 that have been slowly eating away at my refund each year until I flat out owed this year but for the of ending up on a watch list I'll leave the pumpkin spice Palpatine out of this one.
