Only 37% of taxpayers on TurboTax are actually eligible for their “FREE” tax filing, otherwise they force you into paying for the Deluxe federal filing, which is $69!! Then on top of that, another $59 for your state refund when you did all of the work anyway for both?! But that’s not it, another whopping $40 PROCESSING FEE to take that $128 out of my federal return for so called “help” that I didn’t need or want. So they took a total of $168 out of my return for NOTHING!?!?! Then they make you sign documents for it because they know what they’re doing is ROBBING YOU!!! I will never use Turbo TRASH ever again!! Absolute criminals!!

Thought turbo tax was suppose to be free for people making under a 84k a year but doesn’t offer any of the IRS free file program, making you (me) essentially pay 168 for filing taxes. I’m sure if I did some digging in my account, I’d be able to get to that service, it’s crazy it’s not offered straight out the gate, profits profits profits.

Very frustrating that I was charged for the federal and 2 states even though we qualified for the free turbo tax. There wasn't a way to find out why.

Browser Issues

I was unable to e-file my federal return because of some errors with a 1099-R. There was an extra 1099-R listed with partial data. When I tried to add the missing data, the system threw me out of TurboTax and I had to sign in again. I called Tech Support and BJ helped me overcome the issues and seemed to think my Chrome Browser was to blame for the problems.
