Predatory practices and dark patterns designed to convince you that you need to use their banks. Nevermind the lobbying efforts I'm sure that took place to stack on ridiculous fees for direct transfers and the arbitrary and obviously predatory fees for paying with your refund. TurboTax is why we don't have a free directo-to-irs service. Will never use again.
