Forced me to pay more to file a basic Tax Return.

I don't understand why I was unable to file without paying for turbo tax deluxe when I only had one w-2. I also was unable to itemize equipment I bought for work. Turbo Tax works in a pinch, but I will not be using it again.

Good app for taxes. Only downside are the unnecessary overcharging fees with no option to opt out of when you do it yourself.

Everything I see and read says turbotax is free. $126 later with zero upgrades and my taxes are filed. I’ve been using turbotax for over 20 years and NEVER once has it been free.

Overpriced filing and when it got rejected ( used last years pin and didn’t accept bc you can’t reuse it) they took off the $10 price so I’m paying more refiling.
