Another Year, Another Return

As the years go by, I notice we are required to pay additional fees or not have certain options, like e-filing. Overall, TurboTax is still the best bang for our buck when it comes to filing our taxes.

Bait and Switch - BE CAREFUL!

Pretty good tax software. But the whole time, it advertised free, free, FREE! And then at the last second, after I'd already spent the hour entering stuff, it was like, "Ha, just kidding. Ninety bucks, please." Or for another 40, they'll just take it right out of your return. Gee, thanks.
I don't mind paying to have my taxes done - and as I said, this is pretty good tax software. But I've been lied to, and I'm annoyed enough about it to write a review, which is saying something.

Watch out for additional costs

Very disappointed that I was not told up front that Itemizing would be extra. Also that the state return was extra. It felt like a bait and switch. The constant trying to up-sale is also annoying.
