More Complicated Than Last Year

There were some questions in the state taxes that seemed to not pertain to me. Examples dealt with new employee forms, forms FTB 3554 and FTB 3540 that dealt with semiconductor manufacturing and electric airplanes. I have no idea what those were all about. I'm retired and when I was working, I had nothing to do with any of those occupations. I had to review all of my entries from the start and do them all over again to make sure I had not entered any misinformation.

I Am My Own Tax Preparer

I've been using TurboTax since I was 18 years old. Its easy to file my taxes even with the changes of life. Its affordable also. I also enjoy getting my refund quickly and having the knowledge of how to file and what is going on instead of trusting another person. I am my own tax-preparer with TurboTax
