THIS IS NOT CLEAR ON HOW TO USE THE FREE SERVICE

What an absolute scam on the free tax version. When you click continue for free and bypass all the upgrades when you you go to click file at the end It charges you to file. $88.00 Far from a free version. MAKE IT EASY FOR PEOPLE TO SEE HOW TO USE IT FOR FREE ON A SIMPLE TAX RETURN ONLY USING THE W2S WITH STANDARD DEDUCTIONS.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NOT BE USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN OR EVER RECOMENDING YOUR SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Not as good as in past years

I have used Turbo Tax for over 16 years and this tax return was brutal to complete. I can’t use the free version because I have different sources of income. All I have to do is add my income and take the standard deduction, how hard should that be. The directions were confusing, hard to follow, and way too time consuming. I will take a look at other options next year.

Easy to use, but a couple hickups.

It told me that I did not use Turbo Tax last year to submit my taxes but I did. I even had my Turbo Tax Desktop info transferred over to 2025 Turbo online.
Also, it kept telling me that one of my dependents was eligible for the TrumpAcct but all my dependents were born before 2025.
