Different Standard Deduction used for 2023-2024

I'm finding it weird that my taxes are different from the year before and the Standard Deduction used was way less than what the standard deduction is. id like to know what the difference in why the amounts used are the way they are.

I don't like that after adding my insurance I was told I was needing to upgrade. I feel this is wrong. I will probably not be using Turbo Tax again. Total re-off!

Great but still hidden fees

Still frustrating the extra fees to file. I ended up paying an additional $180 when I am considered poverty level making under $30k and filed early March. I appreciate the ease of the website but I thought these hidden fees were waived with last year's laws.

Turbo Tax 2024

It seemed a bit more confusing to use than in previous years. What was set to be a 54 minute preparation turned into an hour and a half…simply due to the wording.
