TurboTax is Easy and Efficient

I have always used TurboTax for my federal tax needs. I loved when they used to offer free services for everyone who only needed the basic services. Now you have to be a completely new user in order to get the basic services for free. I no longer use the basic services as I now file jointly with my husband, but that was one of the many things I enjoyed about using TurboTax. I still use TurboTax because it is easy to use and I am able to understand where the numbers are coming and going. This is also still the cheapest option for filing my taxes. I have used them since I started filing and plan to continue unless for some reason their prices skyrocket to unreasonable ones.

TurboTax sucks

I went through my return doing the work myself and all the way through it. It was going to be free and then when I get to the end, they tell me it’s $49 or I can’t check out. Then when I get to the all the way to the end, it’s $114 you guys are a batch of ripoffs. I will never use you again as long as I have to do taxes you suck.
