Turbotax is the best of both worlds, you can still go by the old school 1040 but you've got the peace of mind from knowing their electro-nannies are double checking your work

User beware! Hidden fees and scammy upselling!

Turbotax is incredibly easy. HOWEVER, it is an incredibly scammy program that constantly attempts to upsell you. There are also a TON of hidden fees that aren't readily apparent (fee for filing state taxes, fee for paying with your return, etc.). I wouldn't be using Turbotax if there was ANY better option.

Disappointing

Disappointed i couldnt file my taxes free like really i had to upgrade to a deluxe version just cause i have a hsa account with my employer? So now i had to pay a extra $39 fee plus a additional $40 to process my return definitely wont file my taxes here for 2025...
