Locked in to services we don't want

The fact that we couldn't opt out of premium member benefits is highway robbery. The only reason we even file with TurboTax every year is because the IRS thinks that someone is trying to steal our identity, if we file with any other service. We are basically filing a simple return at this point and should be able to file for free, instead I am paying 147 dollars!!! Normally in past years the price to file hasn't bothered us as much but we are getting significantly less this year and the price to file is actually starting to make an impact on how much we are getting. We are paying almost the same amount as when we were running a small business. Somehow TurboTax always finds a way to nickel and dime its customers and it is ridiculous!
