It tricked me into paying for my return this year by attaching my email 2 my work phone and after paying, I had to go out and find my previous 7 years of returns under my personal phone number.

Borderline scam, Careful of all the hidden fees.

Software is excellent and easy to use. But since I noticed a few years ago, the dishonest way you hide the $40 "fee" to deduct payment from return is disgusting. Not only is it obscenely too much, but hidden. Its not only omitted on the selection page, but even after you select terms and agreement, its hidden even deeper on a third page on "processing fee" link. And this year there is another scam with only 2 options to receive return with another obscene fee to get your return 5 days earlier or start a Karma account. Again, to get the "free" standard direct deposit that was already paid for, you have to click to the next page and search it out. I cant imagine how many people get scammed by this each year which is the point Im sure. Been using TT for decades but think Im going to look for another site that is more honest and up front with their charges and pricing.

Amazing! Affordable and always easy to you and understanding. However, I paid in advance to file and was still had to select to be charged to my federal after I completed my return.
