Outrageous Fees when supposed to be FREE

First when you see an advertisement it says File Taxes For Free! Then when you think you are Done and you want to file it has gone from free to $49, then you get them to do state taxes it goes up $39 more dollars to total $88 (Remember supposed to be free). Then I agree to that and go to submit it and my total went from $88 to $124, but no explanation why??? This is ridiculous, I know it costs more at other places but they don’t false advertixe
