CLEAN VEHICLE TAX CREDIT SECTION NEEDS ATTENTION

Big issue with how the Clean Vehicle Credit is handled. I answered all questions truthfully and my return got rejected. I confirmed that all information was correct and then resubmitted. I then did some research and found out that you're not eligible for this credit if your EV vehicle was purchased through a private party.
There should be a question asking if you purchased your vehicle through a private party, so that if the answer is "no" people don't waste their time and then be met with disappointment when they find out they don't actually qualify for the credit. I'm going to have to speak with my therapist about this disappointment. Completely screwed up my finances expecting that credit only to not get it.
