Having to pay $118 for a "free" tax service is a bit ridiculous. A fee of $40 just because I paid with my federal return is outrageous.

Great experience

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and continue to be pleased with their product. The online help is generally very good with clear explanations. Also, I very much appreciate being able to contract personal help even with the free edition, first via online chat, then if needed I am able to speak live with a person. Thank you for that.

Older version was better.

We really liked the older version of Turbo Tax that would automatically populate our refund as we were working through our tax documents. This version seemed to take a longer amount of time to complete.

Not a happy customer

I am not happy with how I was done this year! I was too far into my taxes before I was told about the charge for upgrading! It cost me more to file my state taxes than I received back! I should not have had to pay for my state taxes!!!! It was only supposed to be $39 and I was charged over $90!!
