Fast and easy

Continued product push throught filing process

You advertise your product as free, but it's not. It costs the user a fee to submit their returns. False / misleading advertising.
You constantly push additional services throughout the filing processes. I just want to file for the minimal service, and not be bombarded with advertisements, multiple times, before completing the process.
I like the product in that's it's simple and fast to use. But, over the years, the continued permeation of advertisements for additional services is nauseating. Now, when I file my returns through TurboTax, I have to take a meditation break and listen to Enya, so I don't punch a hole through my frikin' screen, after having to refuse multiple, 'hey buddy, buy these extra services that won't do poop to maximize your return anyway.' adverts.

Turbo Tax, not so awesome.

Very dissatisfied with the 2024 Turbo Tax software. Many issues with the State (MA) filing. All information was imported from the Federal form, but it did not mirror with the State form. I purchased the program so I could E-File, but because of the glitches, the State filing now has to be MAILED-IN. Something that was estimated to take less than one hour to complete, took nearly three hours. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2010, and this was the worst it has ever been. Last year I had an issue, and was able to speak with a HUMAN BEING who quickly solved my concern in under two minutes. Now, in order to speak with someone, you would have to pay an additional $89.00. I will definitely think twice about purchasing Turbo Tax next tax season.
