Turbo Tax Hustle

During the process of filing taxes, I thought I might have a special deduction for educator expenses. The first time, I was prompted that I would be assessed a fee for it. I chose to not add that as a deduction to avoid the fee. When reviewing the section, it marked the deduction as incomplete. I did NOT receive a prompt explaining that I would be charged a fee. Turbo Tax tricked me into making the deduction anyway to assess the fee. The version used was also the free version. At the end of the filing, Turbo Tax deducted a $40 fee for filing which was NOT stated before or during filing the return but rather only at the end when it came time for filing.
