Inconsistent

Hidden Fees

Taxes were easy to file, but I'm not a fan of the hidden fees or nickle and diming approach to upgrading. Self employment requires an upgrade, and deductions on self employment expenses requires ANOTHER upgrade. Seems pretty scummy to me.

Disappointed This Year With Turbo Tax

I went through the process of filing both federal and state returns in January. Turbo Tax said my state was not yet accepting returns and would e-file as soon as my state was accepting them. Weeks later, I had not received notification from Turbo Tax regarding state filing status. I logged into Turbo Tax and found that I had to go through the motions of the state return again and e-file. Turbo Tax dropped the ball and did not do what it claimed it would do. Other than that, which I find significant, the experience was fine.
