Took my money before telling me I cant e-file

Did not state that I would need to mail in my state return until AFTER I paid to do it. Requested a refund of my money multiple times online and also called and spoke to someone, they said they can only offer refunds to those who buy in store. What. How does that make sense. And why is requesting a refund of our money even an option then? Very disappointing. Will not be using software next year.
