Turbo Tax has been the best thing about my taxes since I first used it over a decade ago. It keeps copies of my past taxes, so I always have access to documents whenever I need them. I don't know what I'd do without it.

I love that there is an explanation for everything. This really help save me asking questions and in returned it speed up the time it takes to complete taxes. the process was very easy, as long as you have all your documents.

Annoying Process

Tell me how every year at the end of the tax return filling process, despite clicking I DONT NOT WANT PREMIUM SERVICES every time when presented with the option, I end up paying the premium filing costs. I file as single, with no dependents, and I own NOTHING. WHY WOULD I NEED PREMIUM SERVICES. Turbotax STEALS money from me every year.

TurboTax is convenient, but beware of sneaky fees

Proceed with caution. By default, TurboTax seems to attempt to add fees as you go and it takes effort to remove them. I was forced to upgrade from the basic free service without the ability to dispute based on an error message that I had a foreign account being claimed which was absolutely untrue. If these obvious strategies to pick up a few bucks off tax payers weren't in the program, I would give 5 stars.
