Took a chunk of my refund although it said free

Read the title. Super annoying. It also said my refund would be 1300 and they charge a 118 fee so I'm getting like 950 back. That math does not add up.

Never Free, Always Toxic

Limitations on free product are too obscured during filing, and basically anything that TurboTax offers as a "value add" over the most basic services will result in you having to pay. It's never worth it, except that your time is valuable, so you feel obligated to pay so you're not spending an hour re-preparing your taxes with another service. Your'e the worst.

Generally easy to file, each year their format gets better. Wish the fees and "packages" were different and it always takes me longer than they estimate.
