Y'all changed the algorithm, now it loops more frequently, it's harder to get assistance, I genuinely have been stuck in a Loop for dayz because "AGI". I know my AGI, they know my AGI. It is correct, Fix This! Let me Move On!!!
I wish I could give it 5 stars, but unfortunately I cannot. I would give it three and half but that is not an option. There is an error in the 1099-int portion of the return section. If you live in Tennessee or Texas there is not a drop down available with those two states and you cannot simply put it in manually. Without this information it will not let you finish the return either. This took two calls to rectify. First call was 40 minutes of failure and no resolution, the call was disconnected and no return call and nothing rectified, there was a lot of silence and give me a minute several times throughout the call. I hope I don't need to worry about any shananagins with identity theft. I hope the operators have been vetted by Tubotax. Now on the second call the operator was able to find a work around for the problem, he was really great with helping. Hopefully one of these two gentlemen put in a work order with IT to rectify the problem. Otherwise the program was pretty efficient and will probably use again, hopefully next year this issue is resolved.
Things I liked: The program is simple. Quick and easy to use. Done in less than an hour. You obtained most of my data that you required, directly from my employer and from previous returns. Things I didn't like: I didn't like how I felt that you tried disguise the authorization to use my info for other purposes (repeatedly). The "share my info with a 3rd party" option, should be quickly obvious as an opt in agreement. The "read more" should be to opt in not opt out. If it's opt in, then reduce my purchase price, since you are going to sell or otherwise capitalize on my data. Also, $40 to allow you to take tax return filing payment directly from my refund seems an excessive amount.
