It is not free tax filing.

When I completed my tax forms, the charge was supposed to be $68. Federal was not free, they charged me $29, and state was charged at $39 for a total of $68. TurboTax took out $72.29. I don't know why there was a difference in the fees charged. I will not use this platform again, because it is false advertisement. They don't file federal taxes free, and they overcharge you at the end and when making the payment.

It is an easy program, but it is NOT FREE!! It charged me $39 and additional $40 from my refund to pay for the program. I wouldn't use it unless YOU ABSOLUTELY have too.
