There were no instructions for locating my Form 1040 to fix a missing entry. Also, the import of my 1099-INT form was not correct (it uploaded the incorrect address for the payer and myself) and could not be edited so I had to file by mail instead of e-filing, which is inconvenient. If I was able to edit the import/upload then I could've fixed it.
there's no indication, or list of fees, until after you agree to pay. that's not okay. initially, you're told you start for free, then you only pay $49 dollars, THEN, I'm told I'm being charged an extra $40 dollars for a turbo tax fee. what's the $49 dollars for then? its not okay to charge after an agreement.
So many hidden fees it is rather amusing when you remove yourself from the frustration of the situation. Also incredibly misleading that you have to actively search for ways to not pay hidden fees.
