1099-nec not free is horrible

I think it is horrible that my son only made $660 and had to pay $94 federal and then turbo tax charged $88 all together to file state and Federal because he had a 1099-NEC. He should have been able to do the free side. Why work!!!!!

Very easy to use. They ask plain questions in conversational language. Got a little confused about HSA contributions and distributions, but their text explained it pretty well.

This platform used to be worth using. After this year I am never touching this again. My experience was simple I got extorted during the process of paying my taxes and my information was held ransom. Totally shifty experience and I will not recommend this service to anyone. I plan to actively inform people about how shifty turbo tax has become, forcing me to pay for stuff I didn't want over $2??? never again. This was the worst tax paying experience I have ever had hands down.
