Glitch in the system

There was a glitch of some sort in the program as I was filing my returns. At one point I was ahead with my return amounts, when I entered a second W-2, and I triple checked my numbers, it completely changed the amount to where I owed the stated over $2000, I was stunned to say the least. I continued on with my returns thinking it might work itself out, but it didn't. Not only was I upset but scared. I have NEVER owed money to the stated but maybe a $1 once when I was an early teen. I showed my husband, couldn't understand why I would owe, I deleted his return to show him the difference between my W-2 and his, and I rechecked the numbers I had input, and it changed to a positive return. It seemed to be a glitch. I know my numbers were correct.
