You stated by your commercial's and online that using TurboTax this year and if you didn't use it last year would be free and cost nothing, so you Lied to the customers' about your product. When i completed filling for my 2024 taxes and I did not use TurboTax last year, but was charged fees at the end of using TurboTax. However, the process of going through the W2 forms and walking step by step through steps I found it easier when filling my taxes.
Unfortunately, customers are being miss lead by your commercial, honesty and forth coming should be the first priority to the customers.

Turbo tax was unable to do my taxes. No tools to help with any issues. I don’t think I would recommend anyone using this as it doesn’t help if anything this made my easy tax return extremely complicated

I was told that filing your taxes on TurboTax was free. I was upcharged on the deluxe package because my income didn't fit into the categories of regular working individuals. I had to pay extra for deluxe because I earned unemployment, had to pay for state taxes, and then was fraudulently charged for the "Premium Services Benefits". The process is long and tedious, making it an enormous and long inconvenience to go back and find where to cancel such additional categories and they only tell you when you're almost done. Horrible company representation.

I am a seasoned user, I didn't give 5 stars because there were a couple areas were some specific questions were not asked. I had to finish the section then re-enter it for the specifics to populate so I could enter pertinent info. I did choose the non assisted version so maybe that is why, but I don't think that was the case. Overall I like it.

Dont give me a minimum on reviews, its just an annoying extra step. The service does exactly as it is billed, I feel confident I am getting a decent refund with minimal effort. I might be able to get a little more money back if I spent countless hours or even spent more money and gone to an accountant, but at the end of the day, the convenience, the time saved, it makes it worth it. Nothing special about turbotax other than the product they provide is worth the price you pay for it.
