Alabama State Income Tax Problem

Turbo Tax would not let me fill out my state income tax form correctly. My retirement is from a "defined benefit retirement" plan designated by the state of Alabama. Turbo Tax did not recognize this plan and thus I was going to be taxed for my whole retirement benefit.
