TurboTax in my opinion is expensive! TurboTax is situational in that if you are someone that traditionally works 9 - 5 a full-time employee and you have investments such as a 401(k) or a Roth IRA and you’ve may be drawn from those investments because you might’ve had a few emergencies in the past. The cost to use TurboTax to file your taxes will Increases. It’s a platform that I’ve certainly used since high school but as I continue to age, my income continues to increase, and I continue to work full-time TurboTax is not something I would NOT recommend using! The cost associated with filing isn’t worth it the fees will eat away at your federal tax return. Go to a traditional tax expert, yes you’ll pay a fee but you’ll pay a flat fee and they will file it for free.
