Will always use TurboTax

Always a good experience using TurboTax. I only gave 4 stars because the price to file is hefty. Especially tacking on an extra 40 dollar fee if you choose to pay from your refund. I still won't go elsewhere. It's convenient and easy.

Hidden Fees
on February 10, 2025

For a product marketed as free, TurboTax will hit you with fees for upgrade packages that they'll say are necessary as you progress through your return (they just settled a class action for this and yet continue the practice). The website is also not user friendly if you're trying to go back and review a specific field of information.

The rep was exceptional. I believe her name was Jacquelin. She was patient, thorough and pleasant throughout the call.
