Turbo Tax makes filing taxes fairly easy. I was a little confused about entering all information related to my HSA.

TurboTax adds fees at the end of their service
on February 11, 2025

Great tool for taxes but the whole file taxes for free is a complete lie and they add extra costs at the end that they don't disclose until you've already spent your time and energy going through every facet of your taxes, then as you get to the last page, the fees go from *$49 for upgrading to $170 because they want to charge for each state and they add a $40 fee they don't tell you about when you say you want to pay for the service with your return, just to pay for the service with your return. Very misleading and makes you jump through all the hoops before they add all the charges and by then, you've spent 30+ minutes on taxes and don't want to start over with something else. This will be the last time I use TurboTax as they claim it's free, but then add all these extra charges at the very end.
