Turbotax charged me for max benefits when I denied

I specifically picked the Turbo Tax Deluxe package and initially opted out to pay with my federal return, but later changed to pay with a credit card. Choosing to pay with my federal return must have required me to pay for Max benefits initially but it should have been automatically updated and cancel once I opted out to pay with a credit card. There was no option to change it. I have never had this issue with Max benefits being charged automatically even though I did not request it.

It costs $39 each, not for both. Misleading.

Turbo tax did not provide a breakdown of the California state refund. It did not show where the numbers or amount came from. Turbo tax only provided a breakdown for the federal amount. The website offering was misleading. It made it seem as though the cost to file both state and federal was $39, when in truth, it was $39 each bringing the total to 78 dollars.
