The program is great, but at what cost???

I trust the program itself for the most part, and I appreciate how user friendly it is. And this year, and it years past, when I run into a mistake in the system, I google it and find other folks who figured it out before me. But I do NOT trust intuit's business model. It gets work every year. I am livid that in order to add a single (tiny) 1099 that I received for a very small amount of contract work ONE TIME, I have to pay and upgrade my entire thing to the Deluxe version. And there are endless moments of telling me I can pay more money for this or that to Intuit, WHILE I AM doing something as personal as filing my taxes. It is inexcusable. Absolutely shameful and disrespectful.

The Great Turbo Tax.

Had another, great experience with Turbo Tax love the site and wouldn't use anything else for my taxes. Very easy site, very useable site recommend it to every one who, Ask me where I get my Taxes done.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I had a baby
