Turbotax is not awesome!

I dont understand why you choose not to upgrade but yet somehow im being charged to upgrade at the end and cant chang4e it. When talking to someone they said its because of my home owner w-2 but yet I know homeowners that get the free and not the upgraded version. Its impossible to speak to someone and over all have just been disappointed with the fees when choosing the free addition.

There is NO Such Thing as a Free Lunch

I spent over two hours filing my taxes, which were pretty straightforward. I even opted to forgo deducting my teacher deduction because Turbo Tax said I had to purchase the Deluxe edition in order to access that deduction, which I'm pretty sure is not okay, only in the end, to be forced to purchase the Deluxe edition anyway. My taxes were held hostage for the $80 fee- or I could start all over somewhere else.

Turbo tax is ready and convenient

They tell you one amount and then at the end they get add more and you have no way to say no I don’t want that, you can either accept and move forward or go back but no way to say no I don’t want to add that other protection amount. So they trick you but it’s easy and convenient 🤷♀️
