Glitchy Software

I started with Full Live Help. Mel, my tax expert was AMAZING. The technology you all use, was not amazing. I uploaded my documents. Mel could not see some of them. He helped me start a screen share. I could not see his screen. Again- Mel was amazing. Had an answer to every question I had. We got through the entire process. Reviewed everything. YOUR computer program would not let him submit my return for me to review/sign. So I had to cancel doing the Full Live help to do it all myself and got it filed today.
Once Again this was NO fault of Mel's- he was amazing. It was your glitchy software that made this a long painful process just to end up doing it myself.

Self filed taxes

It was easy to walk thru by myself, and I liked the explanations for each category. I did not like how it tells you that if you pick this certain package it is a certain amount and then when you go to pay, it adds a state tax that wasn't included in any information before you were getting ready to file. So just expect to pay double.

Back to using TurboTax after a few years

Easy to use, not expensive. We had owned a business for 9 years and needed an accountant for our taxes. Now that we no longer own that business it was great to be able to do our taxes on my own (and much cheaper).
